Just Keep Walking And You'll Get There

I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world.-St. John 16:33(LivingBible)

The path may be long and arduous, but continue. You’re going to get caught in the rainstorm and will be confronted with some floods, but it’ll pass over eventually. There is some construction going on, so the road will be ripped up for part of the way. When you get to that part, the path won’t be clear to walk on, but just keep your eyes in front of you and don’t get too distracted by it. Although difficult, stay the course.
Once the road becomes a little clear again, it will detour. You’ll get a little confused, but relax and continue to stay the course.
Others at this point have felt lost and turned back around, but just keep walking. It will start to get clearer again.

Life is a path. Our directions along this path of life are actually defined by our passions. Follow these passions, for the directions to your destiny, are written in them.

Just keep walking and you’ll get there.

Our creator has placed a purpose and a life destination in each of us, and wrote the directions into our passions. Follow these passions; stay the course to reach your destiny.
Within the same breath of warning us of the hardships, stumbling blocks, setbacks, and all of the drama that will accompany our walk, Jesus said in the above passage to cheer up for he has already decided to be there and lead us by the hand during those times---as long as we stay the course.
You see, it was accounted for in the directions. Therefore, don’t break away from him in our panic and go our own way. He already said that he has everything under control.
When we don’t stay the course of a passion-filled destination, life loses fulfillment, and we become unhappy. We begin to seek fulfillment elsewhere. True fulfillment can only be realized through following your passion. Anything else is artificial fulfillment, and is only temporary.
So, get back on course. If you’ve left your course, or feel you haven’t been on it at all, stop immediately. Re-evaluate. Pledge to yourself.
Life without a destination is meaningless, and becomes an aimless stroll to nothingness. Defining your purpose will begin the inevitable path to fulfillment.
Do whatever it takes to get back on it. It is worth it. No waiting. No procrastination. Sometimes you simply have to,…“Just Do It.”

Success seems to be largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go.-William Feather
